I'm the commish of a dynasty league that was started this year. We have 1 open position. The only thing we ask is that managers remain active (that means setting your roster). Inactive managers will be replaced and we have had that
case since the start of the season.
settings: 12 teams - 2 divisions
Roster: 27 active + 3 IR
Forward: 3C - 3 LW - 3RW - 1W 2F
offense: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, FW, HIT, BLK
goalies: W, GAA, S%, SHO
Ovechkin, E.Staal, Lecavalier, Thornton, B. Richards, Eriksson, Horton, Antropov, Zherdev, Doan, Karlsson, Gionta, McBain, Zidlicky, Suter, Martin, Tanguay, Huselius, Frolik, Brunette, Moulson, Ruutu, Dupusi, Gilbert, Stajan, Vokoun, Khabibulin, Hiller, Roloson
At the end of the season, two players of your roster must remain unprotected in order for us to organize an offline draft. You keep the 25 other players from year to year
If you are interested, can you please tell me a little about yourself and you previous experience in fantasy sports.
I'm interested. I've been playing hockey (ice, street and ball) for about 20 years. I watch most NHL games that come on TV, travelled to Vancouver many times to watch my Canucks play, and I am a season ticket holder for my hometown Red Deer Rebels (Nugent-Hopkins is the man). Come playoffs, I watch every game. I play fantasy pools every year and I am online at least once a day. I currently am in 3 other Yahoo pools in which I'm first, second and forth, but none are keeper leagues and I would like to be in one.
If the spot is still open, I'm in.

I'll take er over if you want . I'm consumed with my teams & spend far to much on them ...Not sure about what the scoop is with a dynasty league but I'm pretty good at learning . I only started last season with fantasy & have had a 75 % average on four teams
I would be interested in joining another keeper league. I'm only participating in the one this season and I'm running it. I thought that maybe we could help each other though, if i do end up joining your league, maybe you might be willing yourself or might know someone who could join and taking over a team in my fantasy hockey biding league in Pro Boards and Yahoo?
Roger and I been running this league for almost four years and we really haven't had much turn over in that time, i believe one team had some sort of curse and went through three owners back in the inaugural season but since then, everything has been pretty stable. I'm in need of a knowledgeable hockey person willing to be active in a very interesting and fun hockey fantasy league.
If your interested in joining the league, I would first get you to join the leagues group page, nothing really ever happens there, its more like a back up to the real league but there you can read up on all the rules. Im sure you probably have somethnig similar for me to go through for your league. After you've done that, if you like what see then you can come over and get a crash course on Pro Boards, its a group messaging site that makes it very easy to run the league, you might even already be familiar with the site which would be great.
What I expect from each owner is at minimum of 2 hours a day on my league site so if i ask that of others, you can be sure that i will always stay active in your league. On pro boards there is always somethnig to do, updating your teams roster page, recalling and sending players down to the minors, reading other teams trade block, i know two hours seems like a lot but this league is like nothing you've never seen before, you will want to spend even more time discussing trades, scouting players and so on. Weekends are a little different as most of the guys have families, V i think is our youngest at twenty while i believe Deano is the oldest at forty or is he almost fifty anyway weekends are spent with the family, drinking or whatever but just have your Yahoo line up set and your golden.
All the cats in the league are very hockey savvy so you'll need to be on your toes but everyonewould help with any questions you might have in the beginning. The team you would be taking over, if you decide to join, has some pretty good players but your over all depth is lacking and that, plus goal tending is what will win you the THL Championship. All team names have to be real NHL teams and the vacant team right now is the Blackhawks but you don't have to keep it, you can choose from whatever is available.
Let me know if your interested and thanks for your time,
