I'm in a keeper league and am trying to rank the LWers who are left. Out of this list who would you rank as "Gotta Chase", "good to have", and "better than nothing"
I have them in this order, would you agree or change it?
Good to have
Gagne (hoping he stays healthy)
better than nothing
The rest of the obvious guys to chase are already keepers on other teams but just so that you get the whole picture I'll list the LW's that aren't available. These are all guys projected to be kept by their owners:
Kovalchuk (I already have him)
Please throw some input in on how I've ranked or if you think I might be missing anyone on the list. Thanks guys
James Neal was a point per game in the first half of the season and this summer he is training with the trainer who worked with Stamkos before he put up 93 points. Neal is gold, might even go with him above ryan.

I doubt many are gonna give Neal the credit he warrants in my league. That makes him a top sleeper pick for me. I decided I'm going to keep Ryan over Doughty. My reasoning is that Doughty should still be available to me when I draft first round and second round. I'm not so sure Ryan would be with whats available after everyone gets their keepers. Left wing is some slim pickins this year
Gotta Chase(ranked in order):
James Neal (young power forward, and will develop into a very solid 35 G- 75 PT player IMO)
Thomas Vanek (big down season, he`s a 40 goal guy)
Good to have(ranked in order):
Gagne(great player when healthy, will be fresh for next year)
Rene Bourque(solid PT - PIM player when healthy)
Jussi Jokinen(coming off a 30-goal year)
David Booth( a great sleeper for next year. I can see him turning into an extremely good NHLer, maybe a 35 goal - 70 PT player) I rank him lower because you can get him lower.
Lucic(a 40 PT - 150 PIM player)
Morrow( a great sleeper, put up 73 PTS - 100 + PIM two seasons ago)
Players you have forgotten(if not already kept of course)
Alexandre Burrows( in less he is RW next year)
Benn( great sleeper)

B Ryan is one of the players I
targeting this year in the first round. I did have him last year but we only keep 5 players. Since I'm keeping kovalchuk I decided I had to let Ryan go. It was tough cause I was back and forth with keeping Ryan or st. Louis.
I'd stay away from Gagne, Vanek, Moulson
Target: Ryan, Burrows, Clowe, Raymond, Lucic, Wolski, Neal, Jokinen, Malone, Bourque, Sharp - not really in order
Sleepers: Benn, Filatov (high risk/reward)
Thats all I got off the top of my head.
Just to clarify, I'm benchmarking the "gotta chase" category as the best players available and who you would take first round no questions asked.
Now keep in mind that this is a keeper league so most of the leagues best players are already on teams. Aside from goalies, I've listed all the players that are available and the ones taken at their respective positions in the other three boards

Yeah I think Wolski is amazing too, but all we got to see was the back end of the season with him being awesome. I wanna see how well he does with the team from the beginning before I mark him as a for sure guy to get.
