Chicago seems like a likely spot. Trade away a few Players, get a short term lease on Kovi, Push for the cup, let him go and cap space is cleared.
I'm thinking Chicago or Boston (with the available draft picks, that could be tempting for ATL) - That's what I'd put money on, anyway.
Any chance Detroit can get a horse in this race? I know they are topped out on the Salary Cap right now, but they're in-and-out of a playoff spot and I'm pretty sure Ken Holland is going to shake something up to keep their playoff streak in tact and try to keep the team competitive. Plus they are desperate for goals. Could they be the Dark Horse in the race??
I never read anything about the wings have interest in Kovi.
The newest things i've read is that Wadell wants to deal Kovi before Fridays game against Washington.
I've also read that Waddel wants a top 6 forward a top 4 defensmen and a high pick or prospect in return.
The newest teams that were thrown in that they might want to deal for Kovi are the Ducks and the Leafs
Another thing i've read is that the Kings are definatly out of the run now.
