Well, it seems my players can't keep healthy and I am only getting more people injured. I've tried adding/dropping players, but I don't think I want to drop anybody else as I am confident in who I have. However, I am currently last in my 6-man league and it's really frustrating because, on paper, I should be doing great.
Here is my lineup:
Zajac - C
Eric Staal - C (Injured)
Elias - LW, C (Coming off of Injury)
Toews - C (Injured)
Heatly - LW
Smyth - LW
Hemsky - RW (Injured)
Semin - RW
Iginla - RW
Setoguchi - RW (Injured)
Kaberle - D
Doughty - D
Weber - D (Injured)
Steve Mason - G
Bryzgalov - G
I have tried to make trades, but nobody is interested in trading at all.
Your team is fine, just give it some time for everyone to get healthy and you'll be back in the points race. Check the FA list though. I agree, there should be some big names on that list. Some players with big fantasy point value right now.
If I was to get rid of some players it would be:
Zajac - FA list if you find someone better on it.
Staal - Horrible time to trade him but work on it for a while.
Hemsky - Trade if possible.
Setoguchi - FA list if better points out there.
I gotta agree with NHLFan on this one ... though you are loaded on the wings, you have serious issues at center even when healthy, your D is suspect and you are either lucky as hell or incredibly knowledgeable to have the Breeze providing you with points in goal, because on paper (having Phoenix's goalie and a sophmore), your goalies are also weak.
Actually for a 6 team league your team on paper is where it belongs last place.
With 6 teams you should have a lot better players. And I am willing to bet you have a lot of good players as FA right now. With a roster of 15 players that means only 90 players are active. Some of your players are not in the top 90 so on paper you probably are where you should be.
