As hockey nears the end I'm curious what your best and worst fantasy moves were this year.
Best for me: FA pickups Conklin and Connelly.
Worst (Almost): I almost released Hudler and S. Neidemyer early in the year. My friend stopped me.
i had a trade nabakov for malkin but the commish vetoed it twice!. price for spezza turned out ok.
worst - richards and m.koivu for sharp and giguere. but the guy dropped richards so i got em back. also was lucky to pick gaborik of FA.

Best: Trading Nicklas Backstrom(Goalie) for Tim Thomas before the trade deadline and acquiring Alex Burrows
Worst: Drafting Pascal Leclaire high in the draft(recovered by picking up Steve Mason during the season)
Best was when i traded OV and Giggure at the start of the season for Nabby Savard and Vannek Then a week before Vannek got hurt traded him and Ed Jovo for Marleau and Pronger and marleau. Also Picked up Mason
Worst was... Traded Savard when he cooled down for Zetterburg but the numbers are pretty Even O Droped Blake at the start of the season.
worst:i drafted the "4 horsemen" (alfredsson, zetterberg, eric staal and jokinen (before he got sent to calgary).
right now best moves
mason and elliott and snagging montoya for that game against colorado.
that move barring me doing crazy stuff might get me over.
best: picking up bobby ryan, pekka rinne & nikolai khabibulan up off of FA near the start of the season and picking up ryan kesler, tobias enstrom, rob brindamour in the second half of the season when they started heating up.
worst: this is my first year of fantasy hockey and in my first draft, a 12team 4year keeper in which you keep 5 players. i drafted rafalski in the 4th round, kovalev in the 5th and bryzgalov in the 6th.
since kovalev was such a bust and not a good keeper same with my 8th round pick patrick sharp i had to make a trade for a new keeper so i traded ryan and khabibulan for hemsky and brown.. it was right when selanne came back from injury and ryan was cooling down and hemsky just came back from injury and had a 2pt game then a 4pt game and was like 7pts over a ppg... then obviously hemsky falls off and brown just recently became unserviceable
Worst-Just throwing this out there as a diclaimer because I will get teased relentlessly if i dont. This is my first year in fantasy sports and I happen to draft Brodeur. When he went down for a few months i dropped him because I didnt know there was an IR slot.
Best-picking up S. Mason after his 2nd game, and grabbing Krejci just before he went on a tear. The Mason move probably won me the season.
I didnt make any moves that hurt me too much. I was down in 7-9th during the first 3rd, when i had Tanguay,Hemsky, Nash and Stastny hurt all at once. My worst was probably dropping Scott Hartnell for Chris Kunitz. Kunitz did nothing but waste games for me and Hartnell panned out into a good season. My best move was when I ended up getting him back trading Nash,Markov and Huet for Malkin, Hartnell, Elliott and Anderson at the trade deadline. Definetely an even trade though cause Nash has been on fire.
Worst decision: Got offered Semin for Tanguay first couple weeks after the draft and denied it. He ended up trading Semin for Carcillo.
I picked up Mike Green on wavers in November. I was struggling to find one more strong D, and he appears on the waiver line....I couldn't believe my luck. I had drafted Ovie, so when Washingon played, I usually had a good day!

My worst moves were drafting Turco with my 2nd pick and Gaborik with my third pick. Then I picked up Steve Mason when LeClaire got injured, only to drop him in a week. Good move was trading Turco and Jeff Carter for Gomez and Tim Thomas. It hurt giving up Carter but I never really hurt in goals all year and I was desperate for a goalie. I also picked up Bobby Ryan, David Booth and Filip Kuba which have been great for my team. My worst non-move was I declined a trade to get Heatley and give up Vanek... a day before Vanek got injured, I was pretty sour the next day. But I still finished 3rd overall in the league and am now in the finals of playoffs!
