I need help with my team...I've sat in second all year and can't make up any ground...its a 14 team H2H league, scoring is G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, PIM | GS, GAA, SV%, W, SO
I've been making moves
Trade 1- S. Koivu for D. Roy at start of year
Trade 2- S. Gagne for P. Marleau at start of year
Trade 3- Arnott for S. Weber recently
Trade 4- Iginla, Hartnell, Ward and M. Schneider for Backstrom (G), Backstrom (C), D. Sedin and Rob Blake
Still...I can't make up any ground on first...so i ask all you experts what else should I do?!?
C- D. Roy, Backstrom (WAS), Krejci BN Demitra (C/LW)
LW- Marleau (C/LW), D. Sedin, Elias BN Bert and Prospal
RW- Kane, St. Louis, Sullivan (LW/RW)- picked up when lost Iginla
D- Weber, Blake, WHitney, Ohland, O'Brian, Girardi (have to play 6 D)
G- S. Mason, Backstrom BN Miller, Elliot
WHat do I need to improve and who should I trade to do it?!?
Thanks in advance everyone...
One guy in my league has 7 D and has been trying to trade me Chara but wants S. Mason cuz his goalies are brutal...so I picked up Elliot the other day hoping he pans out and keeps getting starts...so i might wait a week or two and if Elliot keeps starting try to trick him into giving me Chara for Elliot and Prospal lol...if not I'll see who else I can couple with Prospal to get Chara and then pick up pauly paul....thanks for all the help man, appreciate it...
yeah lol it didnt matter anyways because Murphy was taken in our draft...I dropped Girardi and picked up Peverley...then im going to try to shop Prospal for a 6th D cuz I should be able to swing that I'de imagine...What do you think??
1st off all just drop Bergeron, lol.
I might hang on to Demitra - give him 2-4 games after the all-star break here...He's playin with Sundin, and Sundin's looked better every game, so...
Probably would drop Girardi... See if that Cory Murphy is on FA's... He's with Tampa now 3pts in 2 games... He is their Dan Boyle replacement on that PP. Should be good things to come there.
Even tho you gave up Iggy it's not bad, got a good goalie in return and got rid of Schneider and Hartell for a lot better players too
You're not bad, like one guy said; Focus on keepin 2nd, so you get the 1st round bye, then hope your guys do well in the last 3 weeks

use 2 of your moves today..paul is better than girardi all day girardi was like dubinsky came on strong and fizzled out..and I would keep demitra for his positions hes lw and center which is valuable..I cut ties with Bertuzzi and yes the man you want to dump is vaclav dump him you will see noone will pick hiim up..ususally about now people have who they want for the season at this point so if they do dump someone for him you have a chance of getting someone maybe better than prospal but not better in their eyes..so proudly dump him hang onto sundin,im not a big fan of him this year but he may just get going..so if you have hung onto him this long dont dump him for someone else to take his value for your long wait...pick up peverley,I did in all 15 of myleagues, lol,,yes 15 And im avaeraging 2-3 place in every league but 2..When people see you picked him up they will be jealous and if a trade comes your way for him jump all over it but make sure you get a good trade hes not a fluke he found chemistry with kovalchuk its for real..sorry for the novel but I always have alot to say, what do you think

I was telling him Grebeshkov i spelled it wrong and tom gilbert,Gilbert has been scoring as of late and hes available in all my leagues until i grabbed him..I dumped off Matty Hunwick for him even hunwick is an option he will pick up the scoring pace once lucic and Kessel and bergy come back..also about this time of year Paul Martin gets his head out of his ass ,he loggs alot of minutes and his +- is kinda nice also if you can sccop up gonchar and put him on IR he will be back february..
First of all dont concentrate so much on first..concentrate on staying in second and making a gap between you and anyone who can make up ground on you..so with that said try and maike a trade with the guyss under you..Also theres 2 players I suggest you snatch up quick and ride out their hot streak..Also a piece of advice to remember,Always in any draft draft a shit player so that you have a spot to make spot starts all year long..Pick up Rich Peverley right now as we speak the guys is gonna surge playing with kovalchuk..I read up on him and hes a natural.hes a passing specialist so look for alot of assist from him and he scores goals as well..his only downfall is his plus minus if you can handle it take him..Also if you can pick up a player grab either Grebby from edmonton hes a sleeper D and TOm gilbert from Edmonton too..If you want a list of playwer i think are good let meknow....If you have more questions I will answer you

hey thanks a lot man, any time i can get an inside scoop im interested lol...maybe I will just ride out this team for a while than except maybe add one or two of the players you mentioned for some of my bench players...
And also for others...I've tried to get rid of (trade) prospal, Bertuzzi and Demitra all year but noone has any interest in them...and our waivers is pretty shallow...tell me who i should add instead of one of them....or girardi...
FA notables (best ranked so far this season)...There isn't anyone good on waivers and not anyone doing well either...pretty shallow in 14 team 22 roster leagues...but if I should pick up any of those guys and drop Bertuzzi, Prospal, Demitra or Girardi let me know...
D- Eminger, Paul Martin, Nick Boyton, Mike Mottau
