I have four goalies on my roster, but I want to trim it down to three, so I can pick up more offense for my team. Problem is my goaltending situation is rather unstable. Here's why:
Nicklas Backstrom (solid numbers, no worries here)
Nikolai Khabibulin (solid numbers, but flip flops games with Huet)
Scott Clemmensen (solid numbers, only till Brodeur comes back)
Craig Anderson (solid numbers, bounces from backup to starter status)
So as of right now, I've got good numbers, but within a month or two, it'll fall apart, with only Backstrom (and maybe Khabibulin) as solid starters. I'm looking at picking up either Pekka Rinne, Jonas Hiller, Jon Quick, or Erik Ersberg - hoping they'll earn starter's minutes.
Any advice out there?
League requires 3 starts a week, but games started is a scored category intentionally because most of the teams would play a goalie for a game, and if they have good numbers then they scratch the goalies for the rest of the week.
