I get this note:
"A IR position on your roster is currently occupied by a player who is no longer on the real-life IR. Please edit your lineup to activate this player from your IR and then attempt your transaction again. (Error #173) "
But I reactivated McCabe and put Brodeur on IR. Why would it give me this message?
Thanks-

I might not be getting this... you had a full roster with one guy on IR (McCabe), then you activated him and put Brouder on IR. You would still have a full roster.
If that's not the case, try looking a few days ahead where you edit your lines, it should say you have an empty slot, then you can add someone.- View Replies

I see what you're confused about now. Sorry for not mentioning this but I was in a rush. I wanted to pick up someone and drop a player, but I would get the IR message.
I can't go throught the transaction of adding a player and dropping another at once.
I just activated McCabe and placed Brodeur on IR today. Could it be that it takes a day before Yahoo registers McCabe as off the IR spot?
Thanks for the input/
