I am in a H2H pool with only 8 managers, so there are some good goalies still available in the FA pool.
I currently have Hasek, Osgood and Backstrom. With Hasek slated to play the majority of the games to finish the year, I am going to drop Osgood. Here are some of the juicy names that I can replace him with:
With the playoffs starting next week (I will probably get a bye as I am 2nd place), who would you pick up to take into the playoffs? I am leaning towrads one of: Price, Miller, Kolzig/Huet, or Fleury
Will Fleury play most games down the stretch? Will Huet be #1 when he returns? Will Miller be consistent? What about Price? Maybe another goalie is the better choice?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Go with the facts, best numbers on that list belong to Bryzgalov and he will start almost if not all the remaining games, keep an eye on Theodore as well as he has had good numbers the past few weeks.
Go with Fluery. A top goalie that is well rested and has good offensive support. Conklin was good while he was out but Fluery is their #1 and they'll probably ride him all the way to get him ready for a playoff run.
