Recruiting for 2008-2009 - Strained Resources Extreme Fantasy Hockey

Seeking new players for our Strained Resources Group

We are looking for some quality fantasy hockey players to play within our tiered system. SO SIGN UP NOW FOR NEXT YEAR’S CONSIDERATION!!! WE ARE PLANNING TO EXPAND NEXT SEASON BY FOUR MORE DIVISIONS (Another 72 teams to be added). (Current league participation is 126, Hoping to have 198 teams in 2008-2009!)

These leagues are 100% Free to play and the trophies are donated/shipped at no expense to the winners. (Photo of the MASTER'S Trophy attached)

One word of caution, WE PERMANENTLY REMOVE ANY PLAYER WHO GOES INACTIVE WITHIN OUR GROUP, BANNED FOR LIFE! WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON HAVING 96% ATTENDANCE THROUGHOUT THE SEASON, WE DO NOT WANT A DRAFT DAY HERO! (…sticks around for the draft then disappears.)

    LIVE DRAFT ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL!
The most difficult of settings. an intense set of rules, history of our leagues, etc. We've been playing this system since 2002.

    Only the strong should apply!

    • Hi, this is just the league I've been looking for to satisfy my fantasy hockey needs!!

      Please email me at: a_brown_bag@yahoo.com

If there is preference allowed, I prefer Tier 4 AHL, but ECHL would still be great

    • This is easily the most competitive format on Yahoo..Join Today! You will never go back to a public league again...of course all you wannabes will have to beat me..the champ!

    • Strained Resources is looking for a FEW more great players…

      http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/Gross-Misconduct-II/

      Testimonials from our players:
“If you are looking for a very competitive fantasy hockey league, Strained Resources is for you. I like this format because a total of 540 players are drafted (18 teams * 30 rounds). I feel that many drafts aren't deep enough and there are too many fantasy worthy players on free agency.
I am entering my 4th year with this format and I've enjoyed the competitiveness every year. ...the league is heavily reliant on goalies so make sure you understand the format before you join. The format started out as one league of 18 teams and grown to 11 leagues of 198 teams so, it is taking off in popularity.” (chaser)

“this is the only format that i think is worth playing in. it just can't be more competitive then this. when you need to have players like Methot and Pouliot to get to the top, you know that is a tough as it gets. So everyone looking for a challenge, THIS IS THE LEAGUE FOR YOU !!!!
for all the rest of you wankerz... steer clear :)…”(alexander m)

“...I can vouch for the toughness of this group! Unless you love hockey, love hockey stats, love to talk, eat and sleep hockey this is not for you. I have worked my way up to Masters and am now entering my third season as a master. I can truly tell you that it is worth the blood, sweat and tears. The managers in masters are ELITE. I have been a part of many other leagues and can truly say that I consider this as being the toughest in the game!!! So if you think you have what it takes to go up against some of the greatest hockey minds in fantasy hockey this is for you. The Strained Resources is truly an exclusive family of die hard hockey fans...if you know your hockey and want to test yourself against the best: SIGN UP!!!” (Demonic Tutor)

“I've played 1 year and if you want a challenge this is the fu*king thing. I you're not gonna be there for the draft, just... walk away now.” (Rash)

“Fools... you think you can play with us??? This is a league for the HARDCORE!!!! Join us and you we will eat you for breakfast!! If you think you can handle it, go ahead. But consider yourselves warned. You’ve got to bring your best each and every day in order to stand a chance. If you want a walk in the park, join the marines or some other pussy organization instead!!” (ez)

“...it truly is the hardest league I've ever been a part of in my fantasy hockey career. ...these guys in this league are the most diehard hockey stat/news/player info m'n f'ers you want to ever meet. ...if you know the 3rd, 4th and up and coming prospects for all teams, not just your favorite team....then maybe this league is for you..." (W)

“I joined last year and it is a great league. Everyone stays involved... It is very competitive and challenging because the format is not your everyday typical format/scoring system. No doubt there is a learning curve...I encourage others to consider applying/joining because an opportunity like this may not come by again for a while.” (MJR)

“I can't believe how much fun this league is. The format makes you have to be on your game day in and day out. All the teams in the division I was in played from beginning to end. You will never find a group of managers with a greater knowledge or drive to compete. If you only have time to play one fantasy hockey league this one is a must.” (“Spiitin' Chiclets”)
“best league there is, just make sure you can commit the time. Especially the draft.” (Original6)

“...the best run/managed pool on the internet"
      Hockey Hooligans (2007-2009 Patrick Division)
