All these Heatley posts about IR
I find it funny reading all these Heatley posts from owners who are panicking about when he'll be put on IR. It must be important for the Sens to do this so that they'll please all these fantasy owners!
-
Ok...my question to you then. Who gets to determine how long the player is out for? The owner?
And stop the fuc$#%g name calling. I'm trying to tell you that you're not making much sense. Sorry that your solution doesn't seem fair...that's why I keep repeating what I'm saying. -
WTF how is he not on IR yet, this is fucking retarded. Yahoo is going to lose alot of service next year thats for sure, lot of people are going to other website pools.

Seriously... all Heatley owners can chill now. He's already skating and supposedly will be back in action much sooner than expected.

THAT will be a sad day for this board. Just think, what will the worry-worts worry about? LOL.

Hack - trust we will not find out you also sign on as freddy. Lol !

I think Heatley will be back shortly after allstar....Feel bad for the guys the traded him for dirt
-
Why would my leg be cut off by a rule anyway?
-
Fine...present your full case then.
Under what circumstances is a team allowed to use this "personalized" IR? If Spezza takes a hard hit and leaves the game in the middle of the 3rd period, can I put him on IR for a few days and pick up a player that plays 3 out of the next 5 days to make up for it?
Why is that fair? The whole purpose of IR is to keep someone on your team while they are injured for a long period of time. Why do you get to say that Heatley won't be back in a few days? Shouldn't the Sens be the one to say that? -
Hack, in one of my leagues I had 5 guys on IR at one point (with 3 IR slots). Did I bitch and complain about how it's not fair, and I should get to keep the players but still pick up others? NO! I had to decide if I would bite the bullet and ride out the injuries, or if I would drop them and pick up hot players to take their place.
The rules need to be kept the way they are. They're simple and easy for yahoo to impose, and easy for everyone to understand. Maybe you shouldn't have drafted Heatley...I'm sure Kovalchuk was available at that point instead. Right? It's just bad luck. You want different rules? START A CUSTOM LEAGUE! -
i have heatley and i was pissed about the whole IR thing.
im working around it though. people need to stop complaining about it and find another way to win. fantasy hockey is still a team thing too, you know. - View More Messages
