All these Heatley posts about IR
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know a legitimate reason the Sens would NOT put him on IR if he's going to be out for over a month?

    Well....as I look at my team, I notice that Heater has been removed from the "can't cut list", but still hasn't been placed on IR. So I can let him go, but I can't reserve him. Thanks yahoo.

  They probably don't need the extra roster spot. They do have have this kid named Nick Foligno and was called up before. I think he would have to go through the re entry waiver.
