Arch Rival Makes Big Trade!!! Good or Bad?

Who made out on this one?

    TEAM 'A' GETS
    Sidney Crosby
    Brian Campbell
    Niklas Kronwall
    Milan Hejduk
    Martin Gerber

    TEAM 'B' GETS
    Corey Perry
    Nicklas Lidstrom
    Chris Pronger
    Daniel Briere
    Evgeni Nabokov

My arch rival is team 'B'. We've been battling for the top 2 spots in our points league for 2 months now. Did he make out on this one?

    • I have never seen anyone win a pool with Crosby on their team - team B completely PWNs this one... Always look at your goaltending; Gerber may only be a back-up soon...

    • Yup, he is a smart GM. Team B totally owned that deal especially in the Defense and Goaltending categories.

And IMO given the way Corey Perry is playing now, he and Briere will outdo Sid and Hejduk as well. Too bad you didn't veto that one... I would have.

      • I think a few of you who posted think that I was part of this trade. That is not the case. I hold first place in our points league. My "arch rival" (team B) is in second place. Team A is in 6th place right now. I just posted to see if anyone thought it was in team B's favor. And your responses have me a little nervous. How about my team and team B's lineups. Let me know what you think. Who has the advantage? I only lead by 28 points.

    • I agree w/Killjoy. Only thing + on A is Syd. Other 3 are midrange right now, but they could turn it up. And baby food for Nab?? Big mistake

    • I tried very hard to like the trade for team A, but in the end I could not do it. I am leading 3 different leagues without stud defencemen, so I am not one to dislike the trade, because team B recieved Pronger and Lidstrom. I just think it was the fact that team A gave up 5 players just to get Crosby.

    • LOL, not so good buddy. Crosby's the only good thing in that deal. Everyone else that went to team B is a solid pick for every stat you'd want from a player in that position.

Way to go arch rival for pulling that deal off. Not say yay for you. LOL

    • yea I hate to sound redundant but Team B whooped Team A's ass in this deal

    • Dude you just lost the number one slot.
