Mike Ribeiro (Dal - C)
How can a guy get three points on the night and be a -1 when the other team only scored 1 goal?!? Even if he changed for his two A (which he didn't) he should be at least a +2 (which he actually was)
I'd be interested in how you check this for the league's stats too... I've seen errors like this in other places as well (nhl.com for one)
the correction has been made & is now in 'stats correction' page. For points & rotisserie leagues the correction will happen at the end of the week. BUT if your league is h2h you're s.o.l., you ain't gonna get corrected.
they screwed up kovalev, zubov and morrow on mine. it actually cost me the +/- catagory for the week.
the official boxscore on NHL has them listed as
on yahoo stats they listed them as
they need to fix this quick.
be patient because yahoo does stat corrections.. ribiero and morrows stats are needed to be fixed and prob will be shortly. I have both on my team and had stattracker goin. ribiero had +1 and 3 pp points. So relax and wait for the corrections.
all 3 were on the PP, i'd know because i have him...so it makes sense...he was on for all 3 goals on the PP, and on the ice for the other teams goal...which makes him -1...so you MIGHT not wanna make yourself look stupid to yahoo quite yet so they'll believe you next time there is an actual error =)

i watched the game. there was only one PP goal scored the entire game. so YOU might want to wait before posting next time so YOU don't look stupid to those of us who actually watched the game and know what's going on.
the first guy is correct. I watched that game & the scorecard was screwed up all game. None of the goals were on the powerplay. NHL has since updated most of them, but the 1st is still listed as a powerplay. If you look at the penalty times, at 5:21 Kostopoulos had a doubleminor & Robidas had a single minor. Which would mean that the powerplay would have ended at 7:21. The goal was scored at 7:31, so not a powerplay. And if you count the people on ice, they are 6 on each side. Again suggesting even strength. In any case, that whole line ribeiro-miett-morrow is at very least a +1, and probably a +2 on the night. It will get fixed. No powerplay goals were scored. NHL is the official scorecard, so quoting yahoo, tsn, rds or any other scoresheets is pointless. NHL often makes corrections several days after and yahoo eventually fixes the stats. (expect if you're in a h2h league, you're screwed or in luck ... depends on how it fits your team)

I'm looking at the box score now, and it looks like none of his points were power play points. Actually, Markov's wasn't shorthanded either if the times listed are correct. Ribeiro should be +2 (if he was on the ice for Markov's goal).
Actually, it doesn't matter how many points he had - if he had all his points on the PP and was on the ice when the other team scored a 5 on 5 goal, he'd be -1. Plus/Minus stats are only counted for even strength goals.
