Varly on too young under manned Avs and Lou with Nucs is still in limbo as to their future together or a plane ride somewhere via trade.
I would have to say Backstrom after the past two weeks as Flames have not appeared to change anything in their play from last two years. Very flat are two words to describe.
Wild have acquired a player or eight to strengthen team over the same two years and have seen good development with younger players with Stoner , Faulk, Gilbert(Oil) and this other D they signed, Suter (41% of even strength ice). Have a look at their depth chart and you'll see what I mean. Most play will be 200 feet away from Backstrom and Wild twine.
