yahoos response to my email in regards to Briere:
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.
I do apologize for the delay in response to your inquiry. We are
receiving more emails than normal during Fantasy Football season. We do investigate and respond to each customer's email individually, and in the order that the email was received.
I appreciate your inquiry with regards to player position eligibility.
We submitted position eligibility reviews for the following players late last week:
Players may be eligible at multiple positions during the current Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Hockey season. Initial position eligibility was determined based on past participation and information supplied by the teams during the off-season.
* All position eligibility requests are reviewed, compiled and forwarded to our data provider who makes the final decision on position eligibility.
* Please understand since Yahoo! is not responsible for modifying position eligibility, we cannot speculate on future changes or comment on the decisions made regarding individual player(s).
* There are no set criteria (minimum number of games, minutes, etc. at a new position) for position eligibility. A new position will be added when our data provider determines that a player's primary position has changed.
* Players will never lose position eligibility which means they can be played at either their old or new positions for the remainder of the season.
We appreciate your feedback. While we'd much rather address each request personally, it's simply not practical given the nature of the review process. Whenever you have further comments or questions, please feel free to email me again.
the Sharp thing is killing me! A center that does not do faceoffs (in a league that counts them) is useless. I drafted him, knowing he is a wing and that the Hawks have no intention of playing him at Center, even when Bolland was out.
Why have some on the list changed and others not? Briere is in the exact same boat... Philly started this season with the clear intention of him playing Wing and not Center. Yet they have updated him.
Worrying about position eligibility is useless. Why bother?
Use the players at their eligible positions and it all works out. While you are worrying about so and so being eligible for a certain position the rest of the managers in your league are making the necessary adjustments - that's called managing.
Seems like a very silly issue to even worry about.

it just helps to have the dual position.
for instance I have McDonald C,LW & Briere C,RW. When i have too many Cs playing I can utilize one of them in an empty RW or LW slot. Its an advantage.
If you had Ovie, Crosby, & Malkin (Lets say for arguments sake that they are all Centers, but Malkin has LW status as well) but you can only play 2 Centers at a time it eliminates the "who do I bench dilemma". Simple... play Malkin as a LW that night.
You'd rather bench him & miss out on his points because Yahoo hasnt given him his LW status? Absurd.
