This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've read on these forums. "It opened up alot of people's eyes, that fighting can lead to death." well, DUH. but how many incidents do you hear where someone dies? The occassional one every now and then, but fighting has been a part of hockey at almost all levels for decades. Most people I know love the fights in hockey, most players on the ice would agree fighting is a momentum changer and a very crucial part of the game. Almost no one has a problem with it except for some random people like yourself who want to change the game to some pussy ass shit. You know when you sign up to play hockey that there is a possiblity you could fight, and almost every team has hired a fighter into their lineup for these occassions. It is definately not "stupid" and if you want to watch a sport without contact i suggest you start watching tennis.
