Is the team THAT bad?
your team is good but your getting killed in the nets, I'm in a 14 team league and have a good team, i have price and lettohnen for goalies in which lehtonnen has been out for 10 games and I've takin a beating, not sure if your league is the same but most teams carry 3 or 4 tenders
i don't understand why people ask these kind of questions..
just look at the player ranking and figure it out yourself
it's obvious your goalies are crap and you're in 7 man league
so even if u have some superstar players, everyone else has the same kind of talent too
stupid thread ...
in a points league tendy's with bad stats will hurt you. toskala and auld especially...anderson isn't bad but not an elite goalie in a points league. that is probably what's hurting you the most...alfie, heatley and spezz will get rolling real soon so your team should come around
Good on paper on say, October 5th
C Jason Spezza - underperfoming
C Patrick O'Sullivan - nothin special
C Patrik Berglund - who?
C Anze Kopitar - solid pick-will heat up
C Olli Jokinen - hurt
C Michael Nylander - little playing time
LW Loui Eriksson - good low end guy -should have 65 points
LW Keith Tkachuk - older, but good - who knows
LW Kristian Huselius - hit and miss
RW Marian Hossa - solid
RW Daniel Alfredsson - will improve, like Spezza
RW Jarome Iginla - maybe best all round player there is
RW Marian Gaborik - wasted pick - endless potential going nowhere
W Nathan Horton - hurt, crappy team
W Dany Heatley - same as alfie and Spezza (but I'd trade one top Senator to diversify)
F Rod Brind'Amour - should do better with Williams return
F Scott Gomez - had hude 2nd half last year
D Shea Weber - great so far -trade him while he's hot
D Sheldon Souray - good, but injury risk
D Andrei Markov - solid
Matt Stajan-- nice surprise
Derick Brassard -- I think he's peaked this year
Mikhail Grabovski - mid-range, easily replaced
G Vesa Toskala - tough situation for a good goalie
G Craig Anderson - playing great- ride it
G Alex Auld - Great pick up--Sens should improve in wins
Basically you've had some bad luck. Lots of quality players laying eggs - should get better
definitely goaltending is a problem. you should be able to get much better options in a 7-man league. and come on. berglund, nylander, brind'Amour? I would say your team isn't the worst I've seen, but it's not too good either. If you were in a RW only league, you'd have an all star team.

Your goaltending needs help and if Ottawa doesn't start scoring you are going to get buried. Heatley is the only one that seems to show up every nite. Plus half your studs are injured. You might try a 2 for 1 giving up Gaborik or Jokinen with a goaltender to uprade you netminder.
Alex Auld is your only decent long term goalie (I don't think anderson will continue to win for FLA), plus you have 4 great right wings and hardly any start players in C or LW.
You should try trading one of your RW, Alfie, iggy or hossa for a goalie and/ or a decent LW or C.
What did you draft so many star RW?
