Should I make this trade?
I get:
Spezza, Ryan Smyth, JP Dumont, and Huet
I give up:
Markov, Doan and Kipper
I have Lundquist and Leclaire(if he ever gets healthy) and Valiquette.
I am sitting in the middle of the league right now and need to make a move. Please help-
I think its a terrible deal for you. Kipper has just one 6 straight, Doan's value is really high because he's playing great and is both lw and rw.

Your obvious weakness is at centre. Luckily for you, centre is the most deep position in fantasy hockey right now. Trading kipper is something you might want to explore, but i think you can do better than this trade. Don't forget that Huet is riding the bench right now. And Spezza is somewhat overated this year.
Try moving Kipper in return for a Toskala, Bryzgalov, Backstrom, someone who will still give you decent goaltending in return.
DO NOT trade Markov.. He plays the pp on one of the best teams in the NHL and is on the brink of breaking into that top tier of D-men alongside Lidstrom and Phaneuf -
if u have an empty slot on your roster, i'd do it

Markov is one of the best, and I would never give up Kipper for Huet. You need the wins and save pct and you won't get the same results with Huet.

you don't think a healthy Leclaire will do alright for save percentage?

Spezza is a 80pt man, Jp dumont is on the pp and the top line... Smyth stands in front on the pp while Stansny and Sakic toss him the puck... Hmmmm Sure Markov might get 50pts but hes on defence with a good chance of getting hurt, Doan being on the top line will never get the points Spezza and JP will get this year... Do it... it will work out in the long run. Trade a guy with lots of goals for a defence with lots of assists or PP points... to make up for Markov...
