    Would you bench Osgood tonight?

I am thinking of benching Osgood tonight EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE TO. His numbers vs. Columbus have been dismal this year . . . so I wonder if it's worth the risk to just have him sit and hope he gets shelled again.

I currently am leading the GAA and SV% and will get my 3rd start tonight from Backstrom vs. San Jose. I want to keep my 1.92 to 3.00 GAA lead as strong as it can be . . . seeing as it's playoffs.

    Would you do it?

    • Im not benching him because he will probably get me wins. but i'm starting all my goalies because my GAA and %SV are done. All i am hoping for is more wins and offense.

in ur situation i'd recommand you to bench him since you have good GAA and SV%... but keep in mind that there is always an possiblity for a shutout, that depends on if ur a risk taker or not

      good luck

    • depends how bad you need wins or not, if not i'd bench for sure him cause he blows pretty bad since he signed that contract extension.

      • Well, wins aren't too important . . . all I need are 5 out of 10 categories to win the playoff week . . . with my low GAA and high SV%, I am hoping to be able to "seal" those two categories and not have to worry about starting goalies for the weekend . . . if I play Ozzy and he loses AND lets in 4 goals, my GAA and SV% will rise closer to my opponents and increase my risk of losing those categories . . .
