Stop changing things mid-season.... the new page is awful, terrible... it sucks. The Standings page is barely readable and now this. It's mid-June, shouldn't you guys be ignoring baseball and focusing on football anyways?
i hate it. i hate the new standing page, the black background blows. i prefer the classic white. just like this thread. once they change the thread to black too then you'll see more people complaining. white background is the preferred choice. like most sites or even a book

You can change the background. Go to the My Team page. Click on the circle near the top left corner of your helmet/jersey/icon. It kind of looks like a gear. Now you can change your team preferences. The first entry, choose Day Game and save. Your background will now be white.
I agree with OP; and regardless of our individual opinions, there can be no question that yahoo should give us the option to have it the old way or use the current perversion...
For those of us who use "classic mode" rather than "swap mode," this new format looks awfully like "swap mode..." clearly there are enough users who use the classic mode- I don't see why we should be forced to click on what I think are ridiculous looking buttons is insulting...
All I really want is the option to have the format fit with what I want, not have Yahoo force stuff down my throat because (and I'm surmising here) these new formats are smartphone friendly and just because I access my teams exclusively on my PC, I should have the format be all narrow and app-like...
Oh, and to the "crybabychemist" who is calling the OP a crybaby... since that apparently is what you claim to be, are you meaning it as a complement? Your self-loathing is showing...
It's an improvement for sure. Layout is nice, player bio Is nice, trend info is nice, the note about when its reflected on your lineup is nice, the team budget info right there with your team highlighted is nice....I see your point about changing things midseason and it maybe could have waited till next season, but overall it doesn't affect gameplay and it is an improvement. No problems here.
