I've been a Yahoo fantasy manager since about the turn of this new century and have struggled with the compulsory Yahoo "CAN'T CUT" madness throughout this time!
This year, in addition to epidemic injuries, highlighted by more "Tommy John" surgeries than ever, and more inclement weather postponements, Yahoo, instead of lightening up on their "CANNOT CUT" 'chip', has become even stricter!....add to the mix an occasional 'steroid' bust, some paternity leaves, and oh yeah, compulsory Monday & Thursday days off, and about 50% of this season has taken place on the bench!
Its NO WONDER that Alexi Ramirez is owned by over 90% of owners!! We CAN'T CUT HIM!
He's been deplorable over the last 2 weeks, and I'd gladly drop him and add Danny Santana,
BUT I CAN'T!! ABSURD! Who is the 'TURD' that makes and enforces these killjoy rules??
Fantasy owners are up in arms!
Droves of us are threatening to 'bolt' and head to other leagues where they don't employ this 'can't cut' madness!
Yahoo, change your 'evil ways' or we are going to cut you!
"Fantasy owners are up in arms!"
Not all of us. Some of us have learned to deal with the challenge and manage our teams accordingly.
"Droves of us are threatening to 'bolt' and head to other leagues where they don't employ this 'can't cut' madness!"
Other sites have the CC list concept. And what facts do you have regarding "droves" and what percentage of players defines a drove?
"Yahoo, change your 'evil ways' or we are going to cut you!"
Leave. The CC List has been around in every sport since they the fantasy leagues were created. If you don't like, nothing is stopping you from going elsewhere.
And for the Choo commenter, he was on the list until this last week.
I have him and Sergio Romo. Bogaerts and Doolittle are both free agents, but there's nothing I can do because I can't cut either. How often to they update these lists? I mean, Romo is on the list but Shin-Soo Choo isn't?
