why do we have to wait until week 2 to start scoring. can't we just exclude those 2 stupid games in the stats?
Your league could have. It was up to the commissioner when they set up the league and they should have let you know this. That date is listed in the scoring and settings tab on the league home page. Unfortunately, once scoring starts that's one thing that cannot be changed. ( I am Commissioner for two league, 10 years and 5 years, and those 2 games down under miss missed up draft dates too)
Week 1 started March 22 and will end April 6. Yahoo posted this on the league page under notes about a week prior to March 22. So you are not waiting until week 2 to start scoring. If you check your matchup then you'll see there are 15 days in week 1.
If you forgot to move players into the starting lineup because it started early, then your fault not Yahoo's. It is only a few games so don't worry those games won't make much of a difference and it is only one week.
I had the same problem. I emailed them through the customer support page. It took them two days, but they actually went into my league and fixed it. Make sure you email them and get an incident ticket number.
where are you seeing we have to wait until week 2? I have a couple drafts coming up on fri and sat and on the league page under notes it says as long as the draft is before march 30, the stats will count for week 1
