    One Move Left...

This is first week of playoffs. I am losing all my pitching categories so far and have one move left. I need all the strikeouts and potential wins I could get. I can either pick up Feldman (orioles) today against CWS tomorrow -OR- Roark (nats) for Saturday vs. Miami....Who is better choice?

    • Steve,
Hmmm....tough call. Both opponents are high strike out teams. Feldman has history vs. White Sox and averages about 6K/9inn against them over 66 innings (40K). That's assuming a 'complete' game though...and he really has just 9 starts against the Sox Also 6 relief appearances. Just based on THIS YEAR he's had 2 starts vs Sox and in 12 inn has put up 13K's so that's a better K rate...9.1/9inn.
      I like the choice.
Roark is an interesting #$%$ shoot, but that's what it is.....a #$%$ shoot. How high is your tolerance for risk? If your a gambler, go for it. But I'd put my money on Feldman.
