    Pick up Starlin Castro?

Wondering if I should try and pick up Starlin Castro who was recently dropped in my league and wondering if I do go for him who to drop.

    My Team

    C - Brian McCann
    1B - Adam LaRoche
    2B - Kyle Seager
    3B - Todd Frazier
    SS - Jean Segura
    OF - Carlos Gomez
    OF - Shin-Soo Choo
    OF - Austin Jackson
    Util - Jayson Werth
    Util - Brett Gardner

    Bench - Martin Prado
    Bench - Jedd Gyorko (DL)
    DL - Corey Hart

    SP - Justin Verlander
    SP - Stephen Strasburg
    RP - Craig Kimbrel
    RP - Aroldis Champman
    P - Sergio Romo
    P - Casey Jannsen
    P - Kenley Jansen
    P - Matt Cain

    Bench - Gio Gonzalez
    Bench - Cole Hammels
    Bench - Julio Teheran

My best thought is to drop Corey Hart for him and switch gyorko to the DL but that just delays my problem of who to eventually drop.

Prado I hope will eventually come out of slump but its looking less and less likely and he is my current backup SS so this might work.

Gyorko is decent for 2B and 3B where I am not terribly great at but hes still putting up better numbers than Castro and Prado.

Teheran and Hammels are the two pitchers I would drop but I would rather try to trade them to get better value out of them.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

    • I can see dropping Hart. I held him myself until Braun went down. At this point, with his slow progress, I think Gyorko is a better stash. Another candidate would be Werth, imo. Your pitching looks great, I wouldn't change a thing there. If this helps you figure out a drop, great. My only question would be are you sure you want Castro? I think I'd be looking more at HRs, RBIs, etc. Anyway, good luck.
