I was just wondering why certain players cannot be dropped? E.g. i have cano and he cant be dropped because he was my first overall pick? But Trout can also not be dropped yet I picked him up from free agency..

  the star players can't be dropped. it's called the can' cut list. it changes sometimes. players are added or dropped. you can't drop them because they are too good.
