Giancarlo Stanton

Stanton had knee surgery and will be out 6 weeks. Player should be placed on DL list.
Need to drop player or be allowed to replace player

  Once again, the Marlins have until before game today to place Stanton on DL. Yahoo will not designate him as such until it is made official. You just have to be patient.

    I don't understand why they are waiting. don't you want the player on the DL as soon as possible so you can replace him with another player on the roster? I want to replace him with Elsbury but I can't do that until Stanton is officially on the DL...
