Salary Cap:
We will have $300 salary cap.
Your roster must be under this salary cap for the season at all times. To make adjustment:
A. Trade player(s) to get under $300 cap.
B. Drop player(s) to get under $300 cap.
To add up your salary add up all of your costs of players on your roster.
- Drafted player's salaries is what you drafted them at.
- Player's who you added via waiver wire, their salary is the cost you got them for.
- Player's added via FA is just $1.
Traded player's carry their salaries plus keeper cost(I will explain later) with them.
Keeper cost is a cool way to make it seem like the longer you have a player the more expensive he gets until you have to trade or drop him. Almost like a team trading expensive veteran's contract to rebuild or letting him hit the FA for bidding(draft pool).
- This is how keeper cost is done:
Year 1: +$2, Year 2: +$4, Year 3: +$6 etc...
Ex: Matt Kemp OF LAD- Keeper salary= $44 + $2 = $46
This might seem like a cheap cost but we our keeping 10 so that is a $20 cap hit.
The deadline to submit your first overall team salary is Tuesday March 27 8:00 PM EST. I will then create a document and send it to everyone.
- You will only have to resubmit salary updates for major acquisition. This will be done just by posting to league and everyone will make adjustments.

Keepers:
We will be keeping 10 keepers.
At end of the season you will need to send me your 10 keeper's and their salaries.
I will explain next year how draft will be conducted. For now just worry about the above topics for this season.
