Hey There, I Posted The Message Below Earlier In Another Message Board, But I Really Did Wanna Get An Extra Opinion.
I Came In 2ND Last Year in My League.
So I Do Have A Bit Of Experience...
...But QUALITY Advice Is ALWAYS Happily Appreciated hehe
I'm In A 12-Team Fantasy Baseball League HERE On Yahoo.
In My League, We Do FIVE (5) KEEPERS.
These Are My Early Choices For Exactly WHO Those FIVE (5) Will Be...
1.) Jose Bautista -3B/OF- -TOR-
2.) Matt Cain -SP- -SF-
3.) Jaime Garcia -SP- -STL-
4.) Doug Fister -SP- -DET-
5.) Brandon Beachy -SP- -ATL-
--...and 2ND Choices, Just In-Case Something Happens Between Now and Draft-Day--
6.) Brett Lawrie -3B- -TOR-
7.) Eric Hosmer -1B- -KC-
8.) Lance Berkman -1B/OF- -STL-
9.) Cory Luebke -SP- -SD-
...The 10 Spot Bothers Me.
I'm LOADED With YOUNG Talent.
Minor, Teaford, Axelrod, Pomeranz, etc etc
SO I Feel STUCK.
Our League Is Very Balanced.
Pitching Is 100% Crucial (even Relievers) Along With The Starting-Lineup's 100% hehehe
And There Are More Players Out There Than Quality Pitchers, So I'm Considering Loading-Up On The Starting Pitchers, and Take More Chances With Drafting A Quality Lineup.
MY QUESTION IS...
I'm Wracking My Brain On This, Since I Expect SO Many Of These Kids To SHINE In 2012.
I have to know what is the point settings on that league your in to give you any advise. My league roster is......
five DL spots
five Bench players
Only 30 moves for the whole year and 3 moves a week.
(It keeps it simple to where if you use a move it better be a for sure thing) 30 was perfect because out of 10 teams only one used them up 1 month before the playoffs. I had 9 left for the playoffs to run my SP f/a moves to get the most points in the playoffs.
As for points, its complicated but we play points for W's or a L for the week.
