Need three uber-competitive replacement managers for established 12-team, 6x6, keeper league. This is a Yahoo Roto league with expansive rosters (as many as 30 players) and lineups (12 starting positions in batting lineup). Newbies will draft their entire team, and the opportunity to be competitive out of the gate is very real. I’ll explain below how the draft will work but - before I do – here are the League Settings:
Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, OF, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG), On-base + Slugging Percentage (OPS)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Strikeouts per Walk Ratio (K/BB)
The teams that need new managers placed first, fifth and ninth in last year’s standings. All of the players leftover from those teams will be thrown into a pool and available in an expansion draft to the three newbies. The expansion draft will be eight rounds. Those eight picks will be your eight keepers heading into the annual full league draft. There is a lot of first-rate talent available in the expansion draft, including the following:
Adrian Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, Ryan Braun, Robinson Cano, Andrew McCutheon, David Wright, Prince Fielder, Mark Teixeira, Tim Lincecum, David Price, Josh Johnson.
So each team will likely start with at least three of the above players. Other players exposed to the expansion draft include, Utley, Zobrist, Feliz, Kennedy, Papelbon, Ichiro, McCann, Konerko, Beltran , Lawrie, Mauer, Reynolds, Bailey, Bell, Nathan, Choo, Nellie Cruz, Hardy, Kendrick, Sandoval, Stubbs, Rickie Weeks, Axford, Kimbrel…
You get the idea. There is a wealth of talent available, so you aren’t inheriting a team that is destined to suck.
This is an active league. Trade Reject Time and Waiver Time deadlines are set for one day, because two days is too long for an active league. We use the messageboard and expect you to as well. All managers have a Yahoo Fantasy Baseball rating of at least 60 percent. There are a couple managers with a rating of at least 80 percent. We’re looking for managers with a similar resume. We have a Group Page where we currently are gearing up for the upcoming season.

It is not a money league. However this league is more challenging then any money league I have ever been in. I can tell you there are no secrets about sleepers in this league. Don't expect anyone to fall to you in the draft. Everyone in this league has done their homework. If you are the type of player that tends to dominate their work/friend leagues and are looking for a league full of guys like you, this is it.
