On Jul 23 10:09 pm the commisoner of the Alaska All Stars League vetoed this trade.
It was fair and would of helped both teams out. I'm confused, can he do this or is he just worrying about himself?
Michael Cuddyer (Min - 1B,2B,3B,OF)
Andrew McCutchen (Pit - OF)
Ryan Howard (Phi - 1B)
Felix Hernandez (Sea - SP)
Lance Berkman (StL - 1B,OF)
Elvis Andrus (Tex - SS)
Ian Kennedy (Ari - SP)
Roy Halladay (Phi - SP)
id say he was dead wrong. and dude who said the howard side wins easy is stupid. lance berkman is having a better season than howard, doc is better than felix, kennedy is easily been a top 15 starter this year and andrus a top 5 ss. idk how u can possibly say that its easily the howard side. just dumb
The veto was unfair. Vetoes should only be done if there is suspicion of collusion to dump one team and build up one team with the dumped players, and that's hard to prove. This trade is not terrible at all.
Your commish is an idiot. Veto does not equal unfair. The veto should be only used in cases where collusion is present. Here's a link which I think you will find interesting:
