Hi there, I had set a max move limit of 60 in my league before the season started. 2 guys in the league already have 40+ moves with one guy having 51(he is in 1st by a game over me). I sent a message to warn them because I felt bad letting them go over although they probably should have read before. The guy with 42 moves said he realised last week and thats why he was more cautious with moves, the guy in 1st with 51 said he had no idea and was asking if I scan increase the max move limit to 80 or 90? Should I do it?
no, don't do it! changing the rules mid-season will screw the guys who actually did bother to check the settings.
if you change, you'll look like a wishy-washy weenie puppet who's in the back pocket of the guy with 51 moves.
I wouldn't change it. The rules were there when the guys joined, and if they didn't fully read it, tough. You have to realize that this is a fairly major change if you adjust the move limit. Some guys go into a league knowing they have limited moves, so they are more careful with their decisions. If you change in the middle of the season, you screw up their strategies too, and you're essentially punishing the managers that read the rules and settings.
