The trade is i give Nelson Cruz, Kyle Lohse and Russell Martin for Wilson Ramos, Aramis Ramirez and Jon Lester
Heres my team:
SP-D.Haren, J.Danks, D.Lowe, K.Lohse, R.Dempster, M.Garza
RP-H.Street, J.Rauch, J.Walden, D.Aardmsa, M.Boggs
OF-J.Hayward, M.Stanton, T.Hunter
Bn-O.Infante,J.damon, J.Lowrie, L.Morrison
SP-J.Lester, CC Sabathia, J.Beckett, J.Shields, T.Wood, J.Jurrjens, C.Billingsley
Have you made the trade yet? What are you waiting for? Make it! Russel Martin will not maintain his level of production. Neither will Lohse. Cruz is legit, but you are getting the best player in the deal in Lester, you are improving your 3B position, and the catchers are kind of a wash. You are losing Cruz, but your outfield will still be good. And most importantly, you are selling high on several players (Lohse and Martin) that are not likely to maintain their production which is exact;y what you should be doing in fantasy baseball. That is a great trade for you.
You are getting Lester and A.Ramirez for Cruz. Make the trade. That clown that posted the previous message must think Lohse and Russell Martin are going to keep that play up.
That's the problem with most of these guys that play these fantasy games. They all have short memories. What has Lohse done in the last 5 years? He's having a good April. Big deal. And Martin won't even be starting by the All-Star break. Yankees have that Catcher in AAA. Montero?
So it's Lester and Ramirez for Cruz. A no-brainer.
You lose HUGE on that deal! He needs relief pitchers so formulate a counter proposal: 2 of your RPs for one of his SPs. Pick and choose the to-be-traded as you see fit. Hang onto to your hitters as they are both having terrific seasons so far - and no reason to believe they'll crash & burn anytime soon.
