    Best Pitching Staff Ever???

my team ERA is 2.65, whip is 1.05 with 10 saves, 10 wins, and like 115 K's

Starters:Roy Halladay, Chris Carpenter(got shelled his last start), Mat Latos, Brett Myers, Michael Pineda, Alexi Ogando, Chris Young, Bronson Arroyo

Closers:Joakim Soria, Fransisco Rodriguez, Craig Kimbrel, Leo Nunez

    DL-David Aardsma

so far only 1 shelling from Chris Carpenter and 1 bad Joakim Soria outing, otherwise pretty much perfect

    • you do realize that were barely 2 weeks into the season??? give it time.... other then halladay and carp your starting pitchers are nothing more then decent. your closers are solid but DEFINITELY NOT "the best pitching staff ever"

    • My final roster from last season was:

      King Felix
      Josh Johnson
      Cliff Lee
      Clayton Kershaw
      Cole Hamels
      Brett Anderson
      Heath Bell
      Matt Thornton
      Daniel Bard
      Hong Chih Kuo
      Chris Perez

I dropped my other relievers late in the season when I had saves sown up in the championship game...

so no...you don't have the best pitching staff ever, and I'm sure someone had a better one than mine was last year.

      • Don't know if mine was better than joel's, but definitely better than the posters

        B. Anderson
        C.j Wilson

Rode them to the championship game and won easily. My offense was stacked too, i had cruz, hamilton, reyes, posey, chris young, raburn, tulo and weeks leading the charge. pretty sure weeks or raburn were my mvp for the championship weeks. with of course tulo being the overall playoff mvp...man what an awesome month....

    • Too early in the season and too many question marks to say that. Pineda and Ogando haven't gone the nnings of a major league starter yet, and Young is an injury risk. Glad you are having success, but I'd need to see more before U agree with you. Besides, in my Public Roto league,my starters are Halladay, Price, Verlander, Carpenter, and E. Santana. That is a pretty good group.

    • yea....im in a h2h 16 team league and ive got Waino, Kershaw, Weaver, Walden, Nunez, Joba, JA Happ, Pap, and Madison Baum (been doing terrible this year BUT).............this is a first year keeper team (just drafted) and we count holds....id take my staff over yours even in a 12 team league.....which mine is not....srry not even close to the "best ever" but nice try

    • No it's not, Sry buddy

      Mines better
      Roy Halladay
      Cliff Lee
      C.C. Sabathia
      Cole Hamels
      Ted Lilly
      Ricky Nolasco

      Sergio Romo
      Jose Valverde
      Carlos Marmol

      Brad Lidge on DL

    • You all should try being in competitive leagues sometimes, it's much more satisfying than beating up losers who clearly don't know anything about baseball.

    • The guy leading in the winner league I'm in currently has an ERA of 2.03, a WHIP of 0.90 and 10 wins and 12 saves. Last year I had a team that had a sub 2.00 ERA for over a month. Your numbers really aren't that special.

    • Last year I had Cole Hammels, Dan Haren, Matt Cain, CJ Wilson, Jonathan Sanchez, Carl Pavano, RA Dickey, Brett Meyers, Daniel Hudson, and Mariano Rivera and David Aardasma closing. This year I have Cole Hamels, Brett meyers, Ra Dickey, Carl Pavano, Jaime Garcia, Ted Lilly, Daniel Hudson, and Jokim Soria and JJ Putz closing, and Tyler Clippard and Hong Chin Kuo for holds. I have been happy both years and havent drafted a pitcher until the 8th round either time. 14 team league by the way.
