    Quality Start Question

    7IP and allwoing 4 earned runs is not a quality start.

    Nobody cares what he did for 6 innings if he blows up the 7th.

    It's not a QS when you pitch 8 shutout innings and then allow 10 runs in the 9th...

    same here, his era for the day with 7IP and 4 earned runs is junk, not quality.
