And this week it's not looking great. I am in a H2H, non-keeper, 12 team competitive league. Here is my offensive roster.
C- Carlos Santana / Montero
1st- Justin Morneau
2nd- Robinson Cano
3rd- Jorge Cantu
SS- Hanley Ramirez
OF- Andre Ethier
OF- Matt Kemp
OF- Matt Holiday
Util- Joey Votto
Util- Pedro Alvarez/ Freese/ Pagan---Add and drop guys
Had Kendry Morales, but I dropped him because of the injury
I originally traded Jiminez for Morneau and Kemp, which is why I have so many big names. My pitching is doing fine, I win 3-4 categories a week there, but have lost all 6 offensive categories the last two weeks (Hits, Runs, RBI's, HR's, AVG. SB). It just seems ridiculous because my lineup has so many all stars. Do i just wait for them to heat up or what? Besides Cano, no one is playing worth a shit.
Solid overall... If it we possible to upgrade Cantu to a better 3b (I'm just not big on him and his first halves are better than hsi second halves)
Yuu had a collective slump for two weeks.. it'll turn.
Hi there, I know what you mean I have some big names too and I'm not doing good either thinking maybe because its inner league play and our players just cooled off a bit because Last week my guys did great I have Jeter, Cano, Cantu,Prado etc... and pretty good pitching ......... I guess you just have to hang in there I wouldn't go and trade any of them just give it sometime and see what happens. It sucks when all of them are slumping at the same time thats what I'm going thru right now.
first of all batting categories aren't all there are to the game.
Also no worries, you shouldn't be worried. My team has
been crap for offensive category for past 5 weeks.(finally
picked it up this week i guess).

Yea, I was in 1st but have dropped to 4th the past 2 weeks. And I know batting isn't everything, but pitching hasn't been my problem . I know how to pitch and ditch and utilize good matchups. I have Broxton and a couple solid RP's as well. I just need my hitting to step up so I can start wining again.
And I agree, Montero over Santana
Thanks for all the advice, it's just disheartening. Every week i'm like this will be the week I get 15 HR's 70+ hits, you know great stats, but then everyone goes 3-25 and blows. Hitting matchups have been tough too though. So i'm aware of that. I also had Bautista, but just dropped him because of the slump.
I wouldnt worry! I have a team that struggled the same way! Brandon Phillips, D. Wright, PUJOLS, HOWARD, Billy Butler, Adam Lind etc. I know the feeling! Dont be afraid to keep dropping innefective players! I dropped Lind to get Jose Bautista!!!! It worked great for a while then I dropped him! Your team is solid and will come around. Your 2B and SS are the ones everyone wishes they had!

I feel your pain. Pujols had a stretch there when he was pretty innefective. Same with Wright and Phillips. But they are all fine now. I've started to drop some decent players recently, like Jackson, Freese, Bautista.. to pick up some speed guys and avg. guys.
