i was at the game in 2004 on fathers day when he hit his 500th homer at the old busch....one of my favorite baseball memories bc he is such a good guy

  was at opening at Safeco with Griffey's first at bat as a Mariner again and he got a hit and standing ovation for about 5 minutes. Greatest moment as a fan for me!

    dude thats sweet...yea they stopped the game for him to hug his dad in the stands and we had like a 10--15 min standing ovation for him and the crazy thing is he was an away player but stl fans are usually good with historical moments (even away players)
