    • keep them for sure, ive had haren on my team for 4 years hes not going to stay like this for long, and theres no point in dropping beckett cuz hes comin off the dl soon...
but you know ur league better than i do and if you could trade these 2 guys for better pitchers go for it

      • I'm encouraged by the nice Haren outing today.

Honestly, I think sometimes these guys try to get too many K's and put those fastballs right where professional hitters love to hit 'em.

Lincecum, on the other hand -- he's frustrated. Trying to ignore baserunners, but therefore letting them run. He'll come back.

I just wish our Commie would allow 2 DL spots (one pitcher one player). If I could move just one of my other four DL's, I would feel a lot more comfortable.

    • Beckett sucked so bad to start last year, but then went on an absolute tear. Haren obviously has the same potential...so, I want to hang on to them -- BUUUUUTTTT....

I should add why having two guys sucking is a problem....

I have dealt with Ethier, Cruz, and Rollins on the DL. I was lucky enough to have Furcal available when Rollins went down, and then Alex Gonzalez when Furcal went down. I also had Hawpe but he was an easy drop when he went DL. I also have dealt with closers not getting saves (Fuentes, Aardsma, Lidge/Contreras -- at least Brian Wilson has had a few).

So, I'm VERY thin -- having a hard time fielding a team of bats each day, and VERY hard if I want to pick up a pitcher and drop someone.
