10 team league keeper league (keep 5)
2B, 3B, QS, CG are extra cats
We can keep 5 players from are team. We have to keep at least 1 pitcher though. We don't lose a draft pick or anything like that. We'll just start the draft in round 6........
I'm hearing that Jason Bay is going to the Mets. Does this help or hurt David Wright? He was my first pick last season, with hopes of being a keeper. But after dealing with injuries and a big stadium I'm not so sure. If Bay does go there this will make me think a little harder.......
Who would you keep?
My final day roster......
Ryan Braun (Mil - OF)
Rajai Davis (Oak - OF)
Andre Ethier (LAD - OF)
Prince Fielder (Mil - 1B)
Matt Holliday (StL - OF)
Jimmy Rollins (Phi - SS)
Grady Sizemore (Cle - OF)
Denard Span (Min - OF)
Chase Utley (Phi - 2B)
Matt Wieters (Bal - C)
David Wright (NYM - 3B)
Homer Bailey (Cin - SP)
Francisco Cordero (Cin - RP)
Wade Davis (TB - SP)
Nelson Figueroa (NYM - SP,RP)
Tommy Hanson (Atl - SP)
Dan Haren (Ari - SP)
Tim Hudson (Atl - SP)
Tim Lincecum (SF - SP)
Joe Nathan (Min - RP)
C?sar Ramos (SD - SP)
Wandy Rodr?guez (Hou - SP)
Huston Street (Col - RP)
I was thinking this....
(in no particular order)
(order of next best)
What are your thoughts?
*We've talked about keeping these rosters and making this a dynasty league, but I don't think that would be fair to others.
i would say ur top 5 are the right choice, maybe if there are a lot of pitchers being kept and not many good ones available for draft u put haren up there because he always pitches outstanding until the second half. there will always be sum1 who would take him at that point, and you will be benefitting from that deal. but i think up top 5 are good
Braun, Fielder, Utley, and Lincecum are definites. I don't think you go too wrong picking Rollins, Wright, Haren or Holliday as # 5. Personally I think I'd keep Wright but you can make a case for any of the above.

No way would I keep Holliday over Utley.
Your 5 are correct. And the next 5 are correct as well. As far as order on the next 5 I would go Holliday, Rolliins, Sizemore, Hanson, Haren.
I like Hanson better than Haren. He is ripe & just a matter of a year or so before he & Lincecum are the 1-2 cy young battlers for the next decade.
Thats about the most ridiculous lineup i've seen. You must play with a bunch of morons, if you have that kind of a team in a 10 team league. Anyways, I'd keep Rollins over Wright, just because SS is a very limited position, and Rollins has a hell of a lineup behind him. I'd say stay with your 1-4.

I love Rollins......I got him for Zobrist about mid-season last year. My only problem with him is he is too streaky. If he was consistant all year then maybe, however he could be anything.
And no, I'm not playing with morons. I added Sizemore with my #1 waiver the final week of the season. I traded for Braun and Rollins. The rest of my team was either drafted or free agent adds.
