I have a 20 team league that is looking for four more managers. This is the first year for the league.
The league will be a near dynasty keeper league with 21 keepers.
Standard 7 X 7 H2H (AVG, R, HR, RBI, SB, TB, OPS...W, L, SV, HLD, K, ERA, WHIP)
Ok now here is the unique part, the league will be drafted entirely with a waiver system.
For the first year (and only the first year) teams will email a list of five players to a email address created for this sole purpose. Once all the list are confirmed to be untouched (unopened) a round of waivers will be manually processed.
Teams could land all five players, or they could land nobody, or anything in between.
This process will be repeated till the majority of teams are at 23 players (rosters will be 26)
After the first year, the Yahoo waiver engine will be used for this process, keep 21 players and then one round of waivers and the draft will be completed.
I don't believe I've seen a league like this before, and nobody that I have played with has tried it.
If you are interested post here or send me a email at email@example.com and I'll send you the group details.
I doubt that this league drafts till mid-March because the draft should go quickly.
I'd love to be a part of this. Jroedema@gmail.com
Will send profile info if needed. Am commish of a keeper league, so I know the dedication needed to keep a league together and the commitment required from everyone inside it. I can't resist a league drafting like this. Sounds AWESOME.
Unless something is changed this year 20 is the maximum number of managers that Yahoo allows in a league, so the league will not expand and even if more were allowed I doubt that I would do so.
Total Bases count so doubles and triples are there in a way, just prefer to keep things more simplistic.
If I had my choice it would be a H2H points league, but such leagues are only available under the PLUS package.

Won't add any extra stats, I find that 14 is plenty and adding extra stats lead to far more cheap wins then anything.
This will be a keeper league, any replacement/new teams would just take the wavier draft slots of any leaving team.
Been commissioning keeper leagues for 7 years now so it wouldn't be my first time that I've had to deal with something of that nature.
