I need some advice here. I am in last place in a 10 team h2h keeper league. Here's the trade. Thanks a million for your advice.
Matt Laporta, Brian Roberts, Zack Greinke, Pat Burrell, George Sherill
Jason Bartlett, Jay Bruce, Adam Dunn, Dan Haren
Not sure I'd do that. Bartlett has been hot and consistent all year so I'd be a little apprehnsive in trading if it were me unless I got a proven bat for him. I'd maybe throw a lower tier player out there for Man Ram and see if they bite. Then sit on him until he gets back. I do agree with trading a pitcher for Tex or Utley though and think that would be a really good move for you.
Looked over your Team and I would NOT do this trade. Your outfield is weak and you need hitters. you have best or 2nd best second baseman in the league so Roberts isn't needed unless you traded him off for a outfielder. Grienke is nice but not needed with you having Haren, besides Grienke most likely won't keep his pace all year. Burrell has been useless and is on DL so that pointless, Laporta isn't everyday and may not stay up all year not to mention he isn't all that impressive yet, He's a gamble. And Sherrill is no better than what you have. Of course this is just my opinion.
burrell is on dl and has been a bust. grienke is a one year wonder prob will be traded to the yankees sometime or yankees will get him in free agency lol. laporta has not done anything so far. sherrill pitches for baltimore mmm not to many save chances there.
I like jay bruce, bartlett is kinda on cloud 9. i think the goods outwya the bads make the trade.
