Tommy Hanson?
Is this guy the next Lincecum or something?.. I'm hearing alot of hype about this guy but don't know anything about him... Is he worth a pick up?

Tommy Hanson is a hard throwing fireball pitcher who's built for possible future stardom. His slider drops off the table like a curveball and looks like a fastball the whole way much like John Smoltz's did in his prime. In spring training he put on a good show but occasionally had a few control problems as most pitching prospects do. His numbers in the minors have been off the charts nearly unhittable, but when the Braves decide to call him up is the question. Also, how the Braves will use him is another questionable scenario. When he does get called up my guess is he will not be horrible but to say he's going to be amazing right off the bat might be a stretch. When the Braves do bring him up he will probably be in the bullpen rather than a starter but thats just my guess and I have not been able to find the latest news on his situation so don't just go off my message alone.
