I'm in a 12 team H2H keeper league where you are allowed to keep 9 players. I've pretty much decided on 8 but I need help with who should be my last keeper.
2) Carlos Quentin
3) Joe Mauer
4) B.J. Upton
5) Brandon Phillips
6) Tim Lincecum
7) Francisco Liriano
8) Jonathan Papelbon

A lot of Kershaw and Maybin suggestions, I think it will eventually end up being on of these two lol. I knew Maybin had a ton of potential but I didn't think he was valued this high already.
The only guys that you should consider are ethier, maybin, snider, and kershaw. With that last spot you want a guy with potential (since you already have a solid core of 8). You're already keeping 2 SP's and 2 OF, so it's not like you NEED to keep either position. Of the 4, Ethier is the most proven, but maybe not the most potential. I think you could fairly easily get Snider in the first round of the draft if you wanted, so cross him off. I think I would go with Kershaw or Maybin, and keep Kershaw based on the fact that you have a solid batting lineup and your pitching needs some help. Kershaw could be the next Hamels. Of course, Maybin could be the next Granderson. Good luck...

I think I should be alright in SBs even without Maybin (as you said, Hanley and Upton lol) - plus I'm sure whoever the other players are will chip in with a few more assists.
How do you think Maybin will perform in other facets of the offensive game, this year.
I wouldn't mind taking Kershaw over Maybin at this point, since Kershaw has already somewhat shown his ability last year.
