You know... it's funny. I started reading people's posts here before I saw the play. So after such incredible controversy, I decided heck! Why not see what they're talking about. I was expecting to see something maybe... controversial... or talented... maybe see a high five with hair and grease... or maybe a high five from his lice... then i saw, a decent over the shoulder catch (you know... the kind that is highlight worthy on a slow day) followed up with about 4 or 5 steps and a high five... then the double play occurred due to very poor baserunning by a not so great team. And the end result... Boston loses again.

HOLY HECK! Why is everyone talking about this? You're either a sox fan or a sox hater. Only reason I can think you'd want to get in on this. F*$& people! I can't believe I took the time to find that video! Shit... I can't believe I took the time to write this. I'm stopping.

Never seen a memorable play?? How about "the best catch in 10 or 11 years" (Man-Ram said this after the game) when Manny jumped over the fence in New York, engulfed by yankee's fans, to make a spectacular catch a few years ago. And what about the time he made the diving catch to cut off Damon's throw. He is definatley an underrated fielder, not many errors and a bunch of assists.

manny ramiez is the worst fielder in baseball. he as the worst plus/mius stats.

two out play to end the inning, who cares, your just another manny hater whos just bummed he's not on your team , im a sox fan and i admit that manny is a space cadet but thats how it goes if he was hitting jacks for your favorite team (which, judging by your bitterness, is either the padres or the rockies). that was a hilarious/effective play. bush league would have been missing the double play because of the high five.

for the people who think manny shouldn't have gave the high 5, do you like football and if yes are you going to bitch about the players jumping in the stands after they score? get real, it was cool to see a player interacting with the crowd.

Its sad but it does really matter who u are .... bc if Carl Everette would have done that he would have been crucified ...... Don Mattingly my favorite player in the world eats a kids popcorn and he is a hero........so I hate Manny but anything that makes the game fun is a plus to me.


P.S. Redsox still suk and lets see if he Hi fives Theo Epstein on the way out the door after asking to be traded for the 7th yr in a row. BUSH LEAGUER

i'm a sox fan and i could care less if joba celerbrates, the guy goes out does his job and he gets fired up when he pitches good,nothing wrong with that

and for the people who think the rays and orioles have a chance to win the division and make playoffs, well wake up from that dream! YANKEES and RED SOX as usual!!

MANNY made a great play and i'm sure the fan was thrilled when he slapped him five. WOW the red sox haven't been playing that well, they will still win the division and you know it. you are the CLOWN for writing this post about something that fans love, interacting with the baseball players.
