well for one, your pitchers arent strong because SD are doing horrible and cant help their pitchers out. try starting kemp...he is getting hot. also, i dont know who is on your free agent pool, but try to see if there are some better pitchers.

that isnt a bad idea at all. but i do like the idea of going with a rotation so i have a pitcher pitching just about everyday.. also the other problem i have so far is that I had to do alot of rebuilding so far and i have used alot of my moves.. I dont want to use them all up before the allstar break...lol do I stick it out or bite the bullet?
Drew, Madduz and Wolf doesnt belong to an H2H league and u can afford to drop Hafner coz its a small league no offense but if u suck thers nothing u can do about it u can improve for next year but if u drafted those guys its not gonna change
Reason #1 -- Too many hitters wasting roster space and too few pitchers
Reason #2 -- Drew, Reynolds, Rowand, and at this point Hafner should not be owned in a 8 team league!
Use the waiver wire to stream pitchers and pickup lower tier closers with those four spots you will gain by dumping said players!
you def need to upgrade your starting pitching. you also have several guys who are having down years thus far (martinez, byrnes, sheff, hafner, cano).
sinceit's an eight team league you should have a bunch of sp on free agent list.
like others are saying, you have a 4 man rotation. in an 8 man league you should have nearly all #1 or #2 starters, and you have almost a full rotation from the same team.
Peavy is a god among men and I'd take chris young over the other 2 even though he is a bit shaky at times, but you should try and get some quality starters, your offense looks great, you have some trade bate with quality replacements.
1. Youve heard that pitching matters more in H2H than in roto. You need MORE pitchers and fast.
2. Youve had some bad luck. Cano, Sheff, Hafner, Byrnes have all been underperforming (though Cano's shown some life lately). Rowand, Chipper, Willingham have been DLed.
3. Play Kemp everyday.
4. so - Padres fan? Or just a Petco fan?
In an 8 team league, you can drop/shop the following players:
Drew, Reynolds, possibly Rowand, Wolf.
You need probably more speed, and better SP, and probably another RP. Have to take chances and trade your better players to get that as you have multiple positions to fill.
Cano should end up as your UTIL, but Kemp fills in nicely for now, but still your OF is weak unless sheffield picks it up. Try shopping Jones in a 2 for 1 deal. depending on which 3b is on the waiver, you may get to upgrade your RP, SP and/or SS trading Jones and get a viable replacement on the waiver for him as there are lots of 3b available. Ibanez might have some value as well. Well, that's it, good luck.
