Should I change anything by grabbing any FA or leave my team alone?? I'm in a 12-team ROTO league.
Available Free Agents:
----batters: C. Pena, Crede, Hall, Suzuki, Napoli, B. Molina, Inge, Kent, Wigginton
----pitchers: Saunders, Eveland, Wellemeyer, Volquez, Casilla, Bell, Burnett, Gorzelanny, Looper, Westbrook, Billingsley
SP- Young, Smoltz, Penny, Marcum, Bannister, Gallardo, Escobar (DL)
RP- Soria, Corpas, Street
You've got the same problem I do: your team rocks, but you still want to add more players to it.
There's a few good FA's, but there's only one that you definitely need to pickup: Carlos Pena. He's ranked #56 on the Big Board.
Figure out who to drop.
To the people who said "Drop Pence" you suck horribly at fantasy.
I would look at picking up some SP help....not that your staff is terrible.....but a couple more options wouldn't hurt you.....I have questions about Smoltz staying healthy at this point in his career.....Bannister has nowhere to go but south right now.....who knows when Escobar is going to return.....Gallardo coming back will definitely be a big lift.
I know you have Penny already but I'd really think about Billingsley. Just remember where people had this guy ranked on draft day. Sure, he's 0-3 right now and that's why someone gave up on him.....too early....big mistake....this guy will likely have some quality starts coming up and you can pick him up at the right time where the other guy suffered through 0-3 for nothing.
I also like Volquez....but he's in the same group as Bannister.....young upside pitcher.....he might K more though.....AJ Burnett is intriguing as always if he can find a way to pitch 200 innings....but those are the top 3 SP's that I like.
I also like Saunders.....someone else to think about if he's available is Ervin Santana. I picked him up the first week of the year and he's eased the pain of Verlander's struggles for me.....think about him....and before you look at last year for Santana....look at 2006....his breakout year....he was very solid....a big bounce back candidate playing on a team that will win....he's already proven he's capable and has the stuff to bring it.
Carlos Pena is really the only hitter that I like out of that bunch.....unless "Suzuki" has Ichiro in front of it....which I doubt....that's probably referring to Kurt Suzuki......if you want to stash Pena and let go of Keppinger that's what I would do personally.....but that's your call. You should be fine at 1B with Texiera plus you can even put Swisher in at 1B since he has dual eligibility. If you need power I'd grab Pena.....but from the looks of your team you probably don't.
Perhaps another speed guy might not hurt.....you don't have any real speed outside Roberts/Rollins.....and Rollins is hurt already. I'd grab Carlos Gomez of Minnesota if he's available in your league. If not, Hunter Pence can help a little here and there.
Hope this helped you out.

Thanks for all your input. Definitely gave me some things to think about and gave some good help regarding my team.
I think I might try to trade Bannister and OF for a better pitcher. Pena could help out my power numbers for sure and if nothing else good trade material. I'll see what I can do.
