Answering Any Questions
Couple notes you should read before asking.
1. You can basically ask me anything. Want to know about Oswalt? Liriano? Pedro? Want to know who to start? Should you pick someone up? Drop someone? Trade someone? Anything.
2. I am not trying to take over, outsmart, or anything of the like, king_humble's topic. I simply enjoy being helpful.
3. If you ask me who wins a trade, I need to know who is replacing and who is being replaced by the players involved. Also helpful, but not needed, would be complete rosters of both teams so I can analyze fantasy value for the teams.
4. I do not give yes/no answers. I give links, stats, projected stats, averages, and other information along with my answers. As such, my responses can take a bit of time. If you ask me a question before my cutoff post, I'll answer it. That brings me to my last note...
5. I will make a cutoff post when I'll stop taking questions. All questions before that post will be answered. Also, any posters that I am awaiting responses from should get answers/replies as well.
Well, ask away. ^_^ And remember, fantasy advice is never absolute, but I will provide you with the best answers I have, and supply you with information to support my answers.-
SHOULD I TRADE ALEX RODRIGUEZ FOR DAVID WRIGHT

What's up? Can you please tell me where I can find the "percent of players owned" in Yahoo Leagues? Yahoo's answer sent me to the percent of players drafted, which isn't what i'm looking for.

would you drop helton for conor jackson? who will ahve the better year..... I have griffety on the bench and in a 12 team league with 19 players, everyone is stacking on starters so I can't afford two bench players.... Griff can fill in more spots for me so it really comes down to who will have better numbers. Helton or Jackson
Thanks! -
I'm in a 20 team deep league. The draft was Monday and was autopick. Here are the statistic settings:
Hitting: H/AB R 1B 2B 3B HR RBI SB AVG OPS
Pitching: IP W CG SHO SV OUT K HLD ERA WHIP
I'm especialy concerned about the bullpen. Here is my roster, but my question is, which players would you deal, and who are the best under the radar relievers to go for? I have no saves at all, right now...I am also concerned about speed, doubles, and triples...

Cutoff Post here, didn't realize it was early release for my neice today... so I'll wrap up the rest of the questions.

Okay, so I was offered Mets SS Jose Reyes and Cardinals OF Rick Ankiel for Hanley Ramirez... I was thinking that Ramirez is putting up great numbers and living up to his preseason rankings, but Reyes could also be very good and Ankiel seems like he's going to be good too. If I make this trade I either drop Bourne or Greene... Would you do this trade??? Here's my roster.
C J.R. Towles (Hou - C)
1B Travis Hafner (Cle - 1B)
2B Brandon Phillips (Cin - 2B)
3B Joe Crede (CWS - 3B)
SS Hanley Ram?rez (Fla - SS)
OF ?lex R?os (Tor - OF)
OF Chris Young (Ari - OF)
OF Michael Bourn (Hou - OF)
Util Ryan Braun (Mil - 3B,OF)
BN Khalil Greene (SD - SS)- 1 Reply to Michael

Yes, I'd make this trade... this will truly upgrade your team. Ankiel's been touted as a 30 HR threat. Bourn is simply speed.
As for Reyes and Ramirez... it doesn't get much closer than this. Reyes should score more Rs and steal more bases(even better since you may drop Bourn), Ramirez should have the BA, HRs and RBIs, but lo and behold you have Ankiel coming in to help you get those HRs and RBIs you would lose... and then some. Again, yes, I'd make this trade.

would you trade Sizemore for Fielder? My team lacks power.I do have Hamilton,Thome and Carlos Lee.

Do you have SBs? The trade should only be done if you do. They should be near the same in BA, HR and RBIs go to Fielder and Rs and SBs to Sizemore. I personally wouldn't make this trade as Sizemore has 30-30 potential. Fielder should hit 40 bombs this year... the margin could be as little as 10 HRs. I wouldn't do it.

I need some advice on my infield, at what point to I drop someone. I have David Ortiz, who might finally be turning it around, which means I can get him off the bench. I also have Lowell out on the DL and there don't seem to be any good 3rd basemen to fill in while he is out. I've been using my utilities. I had to pick up a 1st baseman while Ortiz was on the bench. I would also like to pick up Kenji Johjima, but can't do it too early...when is the right time.
Here is my lineup, what do I do?
C MIke Napoli (picked him up because I needed some hitting)
1B Casey Kotchman (Mark Teixeira is in a slump too)
2B Jose Lopez (hitting now, so moved BJ Upton to the OF)
3B Yunel Escobar (can do 2,3,SS...Mike Lowell on the DL)
SS Edgar Renteria
OF Sheffield
OF BJ Upton
OF Ellsbury (when he's playing)
Util BJ Upton (in OF sometimes instead of Ellsbury...trouble with this spot too many hitters on my team that aren't hitting)
BN Inge
BN Mark Teixeira
BN Ortiz
BN Adam Dunn
DL Lowell
SP Gil Meche
SP Tim Hudson
RP Brad Lidge
RP C.J. Wilson
P Derek Lowe
P Carlos Marmol
P Carlos Zambrano
BN CC Sabathia (should I put him in tonight....his stats are dragging down my pitching staff)
I move my fielders around a lot...is this bad???- 2 Replies to B-Dog

You don't look too bad. Napoli is a great catcher. Kotchman is in one heck of a batting spot int hat Angels line-up. He bats after Hunter, Guerrero, and Anderson... that's some very good RBI potential, the fact you have Teixeira is just a cherry on top. 2B will need an improvement. Lopez should see alot more runs batting in the 2 spot... but he just has not been a consistent fantasy value player. Considering Upton is your 2B you have no issue there. 3B is your only weak spot. I would try to market Inge(Leyland said he's not gonna be playing much when Granderson returns... and Granderson took BP and said he had no pain), you could also try to market Kotchman, Teixeira should produce a lot more than Kotchman, and with Kotchman's terrific start now is an ideal time to move him. Realistically, you'll get Kouzmanoff, Blalock, Gordon, Glaus(which aren't really that thrilling considering you have Lowell)... though right now you might be able to get Aramis Ramirez or Atkins. Let me know how it turns out.
