new thread. i'll add some general thoughts: if i don't answer you question now, i will eventually, so ask anyway
pick up: CLIFF LEE- with health, he can return to form, r BETENCOURT - borowski likely has a dead arm (at best) and betencourt does a bang up job in that role
LONGORIA - he's worth the risk on zero information if one ever was, just like CUETO and VOLQUEZ, they're keepers. R JOHNSON is back. WELLEMEYER is droppable, he doesn't have the innings in him to start all year
get CREDE, THOME, Y ESCOBAR off your bench or trade them. keep all TIGERS on the bench. you won't lose your season by missing a hr, but several 2 for 20's will hurt. all-star bats will eventually recover, but why should you pay for their slumps
no one in the first 150 draft picks is dropppable, instead garner interest with the trading block tool
if any closers are available, pick them up. even if you don't need them, someone else will. it's great trade bait that can fulfill your needs later
I get Cabrera...I have D Wright at 3B but I also have Sizemore, Mclouth, Francoeur and Markakis for 3 OF spots. I have Capps, Wood, and BJ Ryan as closers plus I have Moylan for the short term...
Am I a fool not to do it?

fb becomes a chore if you have to bench guys you know will produce. all good names, but they need room to play w/o having to scrutinize every matchup every day
in the end, you want a solid core, a short bench and room to make pitching changes. don't handcuff yourself
'ey there. New question, different team. A guy has on the trade block Lance Berkman, asking for RP/SV.
Should I offer K-Rod and Billy Butler for Berkman and Jeff Francis? He's pretty desperately bad on saves. I have Hoffman and B.J. Ryan to replace K-Rod...
My OF is Soriano, Wells, Butler, McLouth, and Milledge. Yes, I listened to Funston...probably a bad idea but what the hell.
Anyway, think that's a good offer?
In a 12 team keeper league does the following line up have enough pop?? I am potentially going to be in a trade that envolves giving magglio for crawford. I know the upside overall is better with crawford but am and robbing peter to pay paul! which way helps me more king humble?!?
Rate my team? 10 team head to head, complete games and innings pitched are categories. Several people drafted pitching first because of this...I had 10th pick and by the time it got to me 4 pitchers had been drafted. I picked Beckett with 11th overall because of that. I know I am weak in RP, I generally plan on punting saves every week and winning in IP with a ton of starters.

I'm back again. So you're not happy that I dropped Cueto for Lowe, fair enough. so my question now is what should I do with Lowe? I can drop him right now for Volquez or Kerry Wood. I'm now sitting on six SP's and only 2 RP's (Jenks and Isringhausen).
I have Millwood pitching right now. Do you think I might want to let go of him for Whichever one of Volquez/Wood I don't pick up, or Cueto if I can get him back? Even though I've made far and above more moves than anyone in my leagu, I'm stil pretty high on the waiver list and would have a decent shot at getting him.
