I know i need another closer, but who should i trade off and who should i try and get?
I think it would depend on what type of league it is and your innings max in that particular league, don't you? Wouldn't it be a useful piece of information to add so we may better help you with your query?
I don't think u can have too many SPs. There are a few SP that are also classified as RP (SP/RP) like Marcum and Guthrie so try to get guys like that too.
If you launch a lot of SP through the week you will dominate the Ks and if your league counts IP you will win that too. Normally if you have an army of SPs on your roster you will win ALL the pitching stats by Sunday including ERA and WHip and Wins.
Then find a bunch of hitters who hit for high average and steal a lot of bases so you can grab the batting avg stat and the SB too.
This is a formula for gaining a top-seed in your playoffs by regular season end.
just spot start greinke and bonderman - they have success against weaker teams - check career numbers vs opposing teams the day of starts. harang is good trade bait if you can get a comparable closer. check against where you drafted harang to see who'd be feasable
