Trade Analysis
I just went through with a trade that landed me Carlos Zambrano, Delmon Young, and Michael Young. In return I sent Rich Harden, Jeff Francouer, and Miguel Tejada.
My first thoughts were not to do it, but since I got Harden late and don't really know about Tejada I thought I would take the more reliable options of Michael Young and Zambrano.
With Delmon Young I know I am taking a chance, but thought that with the package it is worth it. Let me know your thoughts!-
You win!! Zambrano for Harden, that's a steal. Michael Young is a hit machine and Delmon is on the verge of stardom.

Essentially it is a push. Unless Harden gets hurt which is totally possible then you will get the better. But I imagine Zambrano will post hi usual numbers. Francoeur will outperform DY. As for the SS's Young will have higher BA and Tejada will have more HRs. Nothing gained, nothing lost.

I respectfully disagree that this is a push. In my opinion giving up Francoeur and Harden was a mistake. The way I see it, if healthy, and it is a big if, Harden will out perform Zambrano this year. Again my opinion. Francoeur will outperform DY by a large portion, so that part is a loss for you. Tejada and M. Young is a gain some lose some as ElGuapo states. If you had offered that trade to me I would have jumped on it immediatley and not thought twice about it.
